To become a good sudoku number player you must be able to "hold" a number(s) in your mind.

Above are two 1 to 9 number grids. Each grid is missing one number - determine the missing numbers - making a mental note of them. Now proceed to the two below grids. Determine the missing numbers in each - making a mental note of them, also.

Now recite all the above grid numbers. Repeat process until you can. (mentally repeating the numbers)

Ok, proceed with the below two grids.

Another strategy to try: Add up the first numbers in each row in the first grid. Do with all three grid sets. Then recite the added up numbers.
